| le fond est un supplément d'un journal anglophone intitulé cahier de la chaussure et du cuir ("the shoe and leather record") datant du 6 juillet 1900. une jeune fille en tablier tient une oie (l'image vient peut-être d'une publicité) et la tête d'un petit enfant est collée sur le corps d'un homme avec un pistolet. il y a également du tissu noir et rouge. inscription en allemand ("schrecken über schanghai = peur sur shanghai) l'oeuvre est du style de schwitters. |

| the background is a supplement to an english-speaking newspaper entitled the shoe and leather record, dating from the 6th july 1900. a little girl with an apron is holding a goose (this picture might come from an advert) and the head of a little child is stuck on the body of a man with a gun. there is also red and black fabric. german inscription "schrecken über schanghai"= fear on shangai. the work is of schwitters' style. |
