a young woman is doing calisthenics in front of the head of a masculine sculpture. they are framed by a semicircle of a wheel. beneeth it is marked "das schöne deutschland" ("the beautiful germany"). probably the image treats of the head of a sculpture named "le parti "made by arno breker in 1939. this sculptur was located next to another statue in front of the new cancellery in berlin during the third reich. the sentence "das schöne deutschland" refers to the title of the book "das schöne deutschland" written by c.w. schmidt. it was published in berlin in 1929, 17 x 25,2 cm. but if you compare the sentence with the book it shows that the sentence has to be cut off somewhere else.

une jeune femme fait des exercices devant une tête masculine sculptée. un demi cercle d'une roue les entoure. en dessous est marqué "das schöne deutschland" (la belle allemagne). il s'agit probablement de la tête de la sculpture d'arno breker "le parti" de 1939, placée ensemble avec la statue "l'armée", devant la nouvelle chancellerie à berlin pendant le nazisme. la phrase "das schöne deutschland fait référence au titre d'un livre de c.w. schmidt: "das schöne deutschland", paru à berlin en 1929, 17 x 25,2 cm. mais vu les dimensions du livre, la phrase a du être découpée ailleurs.
