an african woman with an elephant's horn on her head is kneading manioc. there are buildings of new york under her. the horn refers to the jews, who are the scapegoats. from the 15th century on, the jews have been represented with horns because of a bad translation of the bible from hebrew into latin (for instance, moses by michelangelo).

une femme africaine portant une corne d'éléphant rapport pétrit du manioc. sous elle se trouvent des buildings new-yorkais. la corne est une référence aux juifs, les boucs émissaires. dès le 15ème siècle, on représente les juifs avec des cornes en raison d'une mauvaise traduction de la bible de l'hébreu vers le latin. (exemple: moïse par michel-ange).
